如何参与翻译呢？
- 打开您最熟悉的邮件客户端，Mutt、Evolution、Outlook 都行，连 gmail 之类的 web 界面也行；
- 给 pdesc@ddtp.debian.net 发一封信，标题是“GET 3 zh_CN.UTF-8”。意思是申请 3 个软件包的简体中文翻译，编码是 UTF-8，服务器就会在尚未翻译的列表中挑三个寄给你；
- 过一会儿，就会收到一封邮件，把里面带的附件保存下来；
- 用文本编辑器打开附件，就可以开始翻译了。未翻译的项目是这样：

- 把翻译好的文件保存下来，然后以附件的形式发回给 pdesc@ddtp.debian.net 就好了。过一会儿就能收到确认信，如果提交失败，信中会指出哪里出了错。如果您是直接
回复前面收到的那封信，由于标题还是包含了“GET 3 zh_CN.UTF-8”的内容，您又会得到另外三个未翻译项。
Note:
- 一次不要申请太多的条目，有空闲时间翻个三五条就行；
- 简介内容都比较紧凑，翻译起来有一定难度。如果拿不定主意，发信到 debian-chinese-gb@lists.debian.org 问一下；
- 翻译好的成果可以在 http://ddtp.debian.net 上看到；
- 目前 sid 里的 apt 还看不到翻译好的内容，好像要 experimental 版的才行，过一段时间估计就会有了。如果您着急的话，也可以安装 experimental 中的 apt, python-apt, synaptic 试试；
- 如果是在 windows 下翻译，保存文件时请注意一下编码是 UTF-8，不要存成 bom 格式了(er. 如果您明白我在说什么的话...)；
- 最好不要修改除 <trans> 以外的内容，以免出现格式错误；
- 以“#”开头的行是注释，
以“Description: ”开始的行是原始信息，
以“Description-xx: ”开头的行需要翻译，
注意，多行介绍的翻译在行首要留一个英文空格，段落之间的“ .”要保留。
请多参考前面的例子。 - 多行简介的翻译中，包括开头的空格，每行文字不要超过80个字符宽（中文按照两个字符
算）。，或者跟英文的内容对齐也行。
